Smartbunker SAP Partner Intalec selects Smartbunker to host its ‘SAP as a Service’ ASP Installation. Lincoln, UK, 2nd July 2008 - Smartbunker, the UK's first zero carbon managed hosting provider, today announced that Intalec Partnership LLP, an award winning SAP Partner, has migrated its SAP ASP installation to Smartbunker. For a monthly fee, users of the Intalec service receive all of the benefits of SAP without the pressure of administering their own installation, accessing a fully managed SAP solution through a secure Internet connection. Smartbunker's enterprise-class managed hosting service ensures the ongoing accessibility, reliability, security and development of the service, as well as reducing the carbon footprint of its users to zero. Intalec needed a hosting partner with enterprise-class data centre infrastructure to provide an affordable hosting platform to ensure the performance, stability and scalability of its SAP installation. In collaboration with www.sidmembers.co.uk, Intalec is now able to provide each consultant an affordable individual SAP ‘sandbox’, a complete hosted SAP environment that they can use however they need from any location. Smartbunker's managed hosting service incorporates all costs within a regular monthly fee, so customers do not need to make a large upfront technology investment.
