CEL International - Coventry

The Customer delivers project management, engineering, design and construction services. Their focus is on the pharmaceutical, food and drink, healthcare, fine chemical and fibres industries and includes the provision of energy plant and consultancy services.

The use of SAP at the Customer is centred on the Project System as part of the (PS) module. Also included are Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM) Sales & Distribution (SD) and Human Resources (HR) modules as templated solution areas.

The main purpose of the system is to plan and monitor all the costs within the business – both departmental costs and client project costs, and perform the necessary statutory accounting functions. It has been designed to act as both as a direct replacement to the current legacy accounts and project systems, to meet with current customer requirements and to be the basis on which further developments can be made.
